Cloverlea Honey Tart

This elegantly simple dessert is reminiscent of a traditional treacle tart, but flavoured using locally-sourced honey from Cloverlea Apiaries, encased in a sweet shortcrust pastry. The tart filling isn’t overly sweet, but instead has subtle floral notes and a hint of warming burnt sugar at the end.

No cooking required, simply defrost and enjoy!

This dessert can be eaten on its own, but also goes well with some fresh seasonal fruit. Peaches, figs, pears and strawberries are all great choices. You could also top with one of our citrus macarons for a special occasion.
